OUGD502 Task 1 - Roots. Business Cards

We all had individual parts and research in our plan, Becky has designed us as a teams business cards with influence and input from everyone..

Becky had a range of ideas and creation she then shared these with our group to finalise some decisions. We chose to use a textured stock with the option of duplexing with an indiviudal colour of our choice so we could all have our own business cards to share with people we meet. We felt this added personality and character to our partnership.

I created a birds eye view of my and our dream studio I created
a small diagram to give insight into what our design studio would
look like. Our studio would have a presentation area to present to
clients which will look like a garden hence 'roots' we will have 5 desks
one spare for guests or even a intern or a new member!
A seating area made from our logotype and of course a kitchen area
for when we need a brew or get peckish and of course to be hospitable
to our clients.

OUGD504 Brief 1/2 - Ahoy Studios New York, Wedge and Lever

Although I love Leeds I also love America and it has been my dream ever since I visited 3 years ago, I love both the lifestyle and atmosphere and of course the heat although this would be a leap and scary I hope one day I could and will have this opportunity, I think if I can get the courage up this would be an amazing opportunity I should consider getting intouch here swell, Although I have only looked in New York I would also like to work in California this city life is amazing and cultural. I really hope I can do this.

Because Im home girl I decided to look into studios near by and I was not disappointed.. 3 studios in particular I loved and really enjoyed reading and looking through their designs, Specifically Elmwood I love there range and portfolio I would really love to do some work experience with Elmwood I intend to get in contact at some point to ask and learn more and with the possibility of my foot in the door.
