While the new-look passports have been in use since July 2013, there's one aspect to their design that has not (to our knowledge) been duly celebrated until very recently. This week, a post on Imgur via Reddit alerted our attention to one of the most surprising design reveals we've seen. As one commenter pointed out, "It's like a party on every page"."
I find this an extremely clever design decision not only does
it look amazing it very effectively can prevent passport
forgery. Not only is this beautiful fluorescent design on 1
page spread but almost all of them making it virtual impossible
to re-produce. Without the UV light they look fairly plain and
average for a passport putting the UV paint in this passport
has truly put some passion back into the 'passport'.
